James is a Chartered Accountant and joined the Board in July 2020 to assist from a financial background.
James is currently an Audit Manager at Kreston Reeves and has over ten years experience within accountancy practice. Over that period he has worked with a number of charities and corporations both large and small, dealing with a range of industries along the way. Having worked at both a larger accountancy firm (BDO) and a mid-tier practice he has exposure both to the bigger picture and the smaller details.
James holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics having attended there from Holy Trinity School in Crawley, James has always lived in Crawley, was born in Crawley hospital, and has attended Crawley matches since they played at Town Mead. He continues to be involved locally as the Treasurer for the Parish of Ifield and the Parish of Gossops Green and Bewbush, St Albans.
With two daughters under 3 years old, somehow he still finds time to play the odd round of golf (badly) and continue his cross country running.
