What is the role?

We have an exciting vacancy for a driven, hardworking, passionate individual to come on board and join our team at Crawley Town Community Foundation. This role will focus on the monitoring the impact of programmes delivered by the Football & Sports Development department.

The individual will be comfortable working across departments to lead the way in collating and analysing data. The role will involve day-to-day data entry and liaison with club staff. In addition, the individual will be responsible for implementing a fundraising strategy to increase the income streams of the charitable organisation. The individual will be tasked with writing and coordinating fundraising proposals and developing new and innovative fundraising streams.

 

What are we looking for?

The right candidate will be determined, analytical and capable of working using his or her own initiative. Ideally, this candidate will have previous experience of data analysis and bid writing. This person will need to have excellent communication skills to liaise with staff; parents; teachers and players in a professional and polite manner. This is a role for a person who is highly skilled, motivated and extremely passionate about the work of Crawley Town Community Foundation. The competencies that are required are:

Qualifications & Experience

-       Experience of working in data analytics and impact reporting, and fundraising

PHYSIOTHERAPY VOLUNTEER

If you are a current Physiotherapy student and want to gain experience in Sport physiotherapy,

this position will provide you with the opportunity to work with high level footballers in a

matchday role.

 

You will have the opportunity to experience physiotherapy practices on a match day, as well as opportunities to interact with the football club’s full-time first team physio. You will gain experience in treating players before, during and after matches, as well as supporting match-day coaching staff. You will support in the delivery of treatment within your scope of practice including: massage, taping and exercise rehabilitation, as well as emergency aid provided for both teams on home match days only. You will work closely with football coaches regarding injury information as required.

MAIN DUTIES

  • Match day physio duties on Wednesdays and Fridays when there is home game

  • September 2020 – May 2021, 12pm-3pm

  • Assessment of injured players, aged 16-19

  • Providing emergency first aid cover

  • Keeping accurate medical records

  • Promoting the safeguarding and welfare of students within the education academy

  • Excellent communication with staff, players, and player's parents (where appropriate and/or necessary)

Community Development Coach

Salary: £15,000 - £16,000

Hours: Part-time

Job Description:

To plan, deliver and implement our successful Community Development programmes to a high standard, providing quality, professional supervision and support which are progressive and reflective of the needs of those accessing our provision.

 

Our Community Development projects provide opportunities for local communities to access activities based upon the specific objectives of the projects and of the needs of the participants, as well as promoting and supporting, development of the Crawley Town Community Foundation.

 

Projects are delivered to a broad age-range within the local community and seek to provide support with reducing social-isolation, reducing anti-social behaviour, mental health and increasing levels of participation in sport/activity, as examples.

The candidate must be prepared to work unsociable hours and have access to transport for all sessions.

 

 

Applicants for the post will need to have the following:

  • A 1st4Sport FA Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football (Essential).

  • FA Youth Award (Desirable).

  • Sports coaching awards in other sports. (Desirable)

  • Coaching disability sports. (Desirable)

  • Valid emergency first aid, safeguarding certification. (Essential)

  • A full UK driving licence and a car you have access to for all sessions. (Essential)

The successful applicant will be required to deliver sessions within a range of community settings, using excellent organisation, time management and communication skills. You must be highly motivated, enthusiastic & have a pro-active approach to working flexible hours as and when the role requires.

Ideally, this candidate will have previous experience of working with these age groups in a range of different settings. This person will need to have excellent communication skills to liase with parents; teachers and players in a professional and polite manner. Essential Qualifications & Experience

- FA Level 2 Coaching Qualification (FA Level 1 will be considered)

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

- Driving Licence

- AFPE Level 3 in Supporting the Delivery of PE and School Sport
