Free Health Check Friday at Extra Time Hubs

Since the launch of the Extra Time Hubs at Crawley Town, the programmes popularity has increased rapidly, with existing participants recommending the programme to family and friends across the community.

Extra Time Hubs is a national project from the EFL Trust with National Lottery funding from Sport England and is designed to engage retired and semi-retired individuals over 55, providing the opportunity to meet like-minded people whilst socialising and participating in a variety of activities to improve their personal health and wellbeing.

Within the weekly sessions, participants suggest social and general activity ideas for future sessions, therefore shaping the programme for individuals needs both physically and socially.

On Friday 9th August, we will be hosting our very own Free Health Checks here at The People’s Pension Stadium, for those aged over 55, from 11:30am – 1:30pm.

The Extra Time Hubs offer both a variety of social and physical activities each week and allow participants to choose what they do during the session. Activities may include wellbeing walks, walking football, games, quizzes and more based on the needs of the participants for £3.00 – your first session is FREE, we looking forward to welcoming you.
