NCS Returns for their Autumn Programme

Every year, thousands of teenagers, aged 15-17, across the country attend the NCS (National Citizen Service) programme to develop new skills, meet new people and live independently, all whilst making a positive impact in the community.

This year due to COVID-19 the traditional NCS programme was adapted to ensure that young people across the country can ‘Keep Doing Good’ in their communities.

‘Keep Doing Good’ was launched as a part of NCS’s ‘One Million Hours of Doing Good’, a wider pledge that enabled up to one million hours for teens to take an active role in helping the country recover post Covid-19.

Our NCS team this Autumn we will be delivering a 5-day programme during the Autumn half term, which includes supporting the wider community through social action.

Maybe you have a personal statement to think about, or a job that you would like to apply for? NCS is the perfect opportunity this autumn to provide you with the transferable skills for development. Throughout the week we will be providing you with skills and tools to further your learning and bulk up that CV! The sessions will span across a variety of topics, such as Mental Health, Money Management and Public Speaking etc.

We can ensure that we will adhere to all COVID-19 guidelines, regularly sanitise, wear masks and maintain a safe social distance throughout the whole of the programme. We want to make sure that everyone who takes part stays safe, without altering the NCS experience.
