SHIRTS 4 SCHOOLS A HUGE SUCCESS

Over 1000 shirts were handed out to children in the local area.

Over the course of Thursday, a record 1195 shirts were handed out to Year One students across 19 different schools in the local area. Crawley Town, The People’s Pension and Reggie the Red, dropped off goody bags at 18 different schools before arriving at the Bewbush Academy to meet the press at the Shirts 4 Schools showcase event.

BBC Radio Sussex and Surrey, BBC South East and the Crawley Observer put together some brilliant pieces to showcase the event in all of its glory.

The students at the Bewbush Academy were delighted to be joined by Reggie the Red and 16 members of the Crawley Town first team. The players joined in with some football skills sessions with the children, who were all wearing their brand new 2021/22 replica shirts.

Everyone at Crawley Town Football Club would like to extend their thanks to The People’s Pension, The Crawley Town Community Foundation and the 19 schools we visited yesterday. Without their help, the event would not have been possible.

We look forward to seeing the next generation of Crawley Town supporters come through the gates with their new kits on at the upcoming games!
