Summer Break with Crawley Town Community Foundation

As the summer holiday start, the Community Foundation and have an activity packed timetable for the weeks ahead.


Alongside our 6-week Summer Soccer School programme from the 26th July to 3rd September, the Schools & Football Development team have announced trial dates for new players only for the 2021/22 season at Crawley Town.


The Youth Development Pathway (U7s to U16s) at Crawley Town FC is designed to focus on the holistic development of the players within our centres. Emphasising the importance of building resilience, confidence and leadership skills, our players are role models whether they are on or off the football pitch.


Trials start on Wednesday 18th August and is spread across 3 evenings to split all trialists into their relevant age groups. All trials will be hosted at The People’s Pension Stadium 3G Ballcourt (opposite Redz Bar).

Our Community Development Team will be continuing the delivery of our Premier League Kicks sessions around Crawley, with more venues to be added in September.


Premier League Kicks, aims to support young people using football and other activities, to provide positive and structured opportunities, to help them lead a healthier, more active lifestyle and make positive choices.


Throughout the summer the PL Kicks sessions will be at:


· Monday 4:30pm to 6pm at Maidenbower 3G (8 to 18 years)

· Tuesday 4pm to 6pm at The Peoples Pension Stadium, 3G Ballcourt (14+ Only)

· Youth sessions at Dormans (Wednesday 4:40pm to 6pm) & Bewbush (Thursday 4:40pm to 6pm) in partnership with Crawley Community Youth Service (please sign up for these through CCYS as numbers are limited)

· Friday 5pm to 6pm Premier League Kicks Girls, at The Peoples Pension Stadium, 3G Ballcourt (8 to 18 years)

Our Education Academy pre-season commenced on the 19th July, for 8 weeks, with the focus on strength & conditioning, playing philosophy and ideologies used by the first team, before they jump straight into the Education year and the 2021/22 season.

As part of pre-season week, the players will be taking part in 8 Friendlies before the 2021/22 season begins, these will be played against:


· Sutton Common Rovers (11/8/21 AWAY)

· Shoreham FC (13/8/21 AWAY)

· Horsham FC (17/8/21 AWAY)

· Broadbridge Heath FC (20/8/21 AWAY)

· MET Police FC (25/8/21 AWAY)

· Steyning Town CFC (27/8/21 AWAY)

· Dorking Wanderers (1/9/21 HOME)

· Dorking Wanderers (3/9/21 HOME)
