The Foundation have been hosting the Utilita Cup and the Utilita Girls Cup this past few weeks and the first round winners have been revealed!
The Cups take place each season with schools around Crawley taking part in the six-a-side tournament. This is part of a nationwide competition whereby different region's schools enter teams that are in with a chance of representing their town, or city's, clubs.
As the rounds go through, the schools compete to go on to play in the finals at Wembley stadium at the end of the season - these finals are on the pitch before major Football League finals at the famous stadium.
The Utilita Girls Cup first round winners were Oriel High school and we send our congratulations to them! They overcame Hazelwick school - where the games were hosted - and go on to the next round of the competition.
In the Utilita Cup on Thursday it was Pound Hill Junior School who came out as winners when playing against Our Lady Queen of Heaven School in the final at the Broadfield Stadium 3G - well done to them!
