Mental health affects 1 in 4 of us in a year, with 1/6 in a week (https://www.mind.org.uk/).


Mental health issues can hit any of us, any time, anywhere & is a global concern. If you're experiencing anxiety and/or related issues there is free help available.


Firstly, talk to someone & if you're the one listening - ask how you can help, and try to be understanding.


The Samaritans

The Samaritans are there to listen and have the capacity to be available 24/7 for emotional support if you need it.

Text SHOUT to 85258 - This service can be used to get support with anything from anxiety issues, abuse, for loneliness and/or isolation.

Anxiety UK have access to all manner of therapy and counselling services and a comprehensive list of what they provide for mental health issues is on their website.

Rethink Mental Illness

Rethink provide support with any money issues you have, your rights, benefits, therapy & medication.

CALM

A service to to help those who may be struggling with suicidal thoughts


MIND

Mind offer everything from legal advice to some information on mental health issues


NHS

Your local GP can talk with you and help with any issues you may have, they are there to support you!
