Move the Goalposts, is aimed at members of the community aged 18+, currently experiencing or are at risk of experiencing mental health difficulties. The programme is open to all, with no official referral or diagnosis necessary and provides opportunities for participants to access supported sessions.
The programme is a 1-hour outdoor football session, with the aims of supporting mental health through physical activity. All abilities are welcome and no experience is required, just turn up and meet like-minded people from your local community.
Our support for those isolated and vulnerable has expanded to support the wider community, with this we have introduced a range of sessions to cater for all.
These include: Online Sessions, Coffee mornings on Wednesdays in Bewbush & Friday at The People’s Pension Stadium, Walk & Talk every Wednesday and Sporting Memories every Thursday, with new sessions being introduced on a frequent basis.
Move the Goalposts is held every Wednesday, from 3pm - 4pm on the People's Pension Stadium 3G Ball Court - sessions are open to all abilities.
